Sewing machine operator • Pratt County, Kansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Pratt County, Kansas. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens You will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. We offer $260 per day plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
