Sewing machine operator — Ikom

Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Day-to-day duties: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers ₦130,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
