Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Decatur County, Indiana. You will work on a commercial construction site. The role involves: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Rotating shifts.
