Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Waldo County, Maine. The job is on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance On the job you will handle: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
