Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Mitchell County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
