Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Taylor County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Taylor County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm What we are looking for: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
