Turning centre operator — Lawrence County

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Lawrence County, Kentucky. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
