We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Ezza South, Ebonyi State. You will be based on a busy housing site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
