Requirements: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Day to day you will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
