CNC programmer-operator — Covington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Covington County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm 5+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
