Visual inspection operator — Jo Daviess County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in Jo Daviess County, Illinois. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Willing to work rotating and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
