Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. ₦250,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
