Day to day you will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
