Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
