Press machine operator — Schleicher County

Now hiring: we are hiring a press machine operator in Schleicher County, Texas. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
