Foundry worker • King County, Texas

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in King County, Texas. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. On a typical shift you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
