Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pressman in Claiborne County, Mississippi. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work The role involves shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $140 per day plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends.
