Stamping press operator — Thurston County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Thurston County, Nebraska. You should have: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Your main tasks: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Full-time with occasional weekends.
