Crawler crane operator • McLean County, Kentucky

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in McLean County, Kentucky. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. You will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • A good head for heights for tower crane work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
