Excavator operator wanted in Lancaster County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Lancaster County, Nebraska. The job is in an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Pay around $29 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
