We are recruiting: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Robertson County, Kentucky. The job is at an open-cast mine. You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters Day to day you will strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily.
