Lift erector wanted in Bastrop County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift erector in Bastrop County, Texas. You will be based at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Your main tasks: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
