Great opportunity: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Hampshire, England. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron The role involves load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges. 3+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around £3,150 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
