Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in Calaveras County, California. On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 1+ years on the tools preferred.
