Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Suffolk

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Suffolk, England. You will work on a window-and-door production line. Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings You will check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer £3,500 per project plus benefits.
