Immediate opening: rebar worker (Delaware)

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar worker in New Castle County, Delaware. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Ideal candidate: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
