Brick and block layer — Bayfield County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Bayfield County, Wisconsin. The role involves: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) We offer $31 per hour plus benefits.
