Join our team: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Ahiazu-Mbaise, Imo State. You will be based in a busy laundry. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Your main tasks: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics 3+ years on the tools preferred.
