Finishing presser — Montezuma County

Join our team: we are hiring a finishing presser in Montezuma County, Colorado. You will work at a dry cleaner's. On a typical shift you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Six days a week, one day off. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
