Sand plant operator — Custer County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Custer County, Colorado. The job is on the moulding line. Day-to-day duties: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
