Join our team: track-type tractor operator (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. You will be based on a road construction project. On the job you will handle: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms Ideal candidate: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters 1+ years on the tools preferred. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
