Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Boone County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Boone County, Iowa. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Day to day you will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
