Your main tasks: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster Ideal candidate: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Part-time with flexible hours.
