Brick and block layer — Lycoming County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Your main tasks: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
