Argon welder — Wood County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Wood County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) You will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
