Lift installation engineer wanted in Gateshead

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Gateshead, England. Requirements: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring On the job you will handle: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
