Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Adair County, Oklahoma. The role involves: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
