Hoist operator — Rutland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hoist operator in Rutland County, Vermont. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. The role involves help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); work out the load weight and the lifting radius. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
