Packaging machine operator wanted in Putnam County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Putnam County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges You should have: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
