Port container crane operator • Franklin County, Arkansas

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Franklin County, Arkansas. On a typical shift you will set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Part-time with flexible hours.
