Falsework carpenter — Jos North

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Jos North, Plateau State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites The role involves seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs.
