Sand plant operator — Izard County

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Izard County, Arkansas. The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
