Join our team: we are hiring a stitching operator in Fayette County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Your main tasks: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance We offer $180 per day plus benefits.
