Vacancy available: semi-automatic welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Bowie County, Texas. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence You should have: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $8,000 per project plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
