Pastry baker — Franklin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Franklin County, Washington. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate The role involves: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
