Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in Mercer County, Illinois. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings You will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
