Overlocker operator — Riley County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Riley County, Kansas. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. The role involves operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
