Now hiring: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Chippewa County, Minnesota. On the job you will handle: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift.
