Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Adams County, Washington. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Day-to-day duties: • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges Rotating shifts.
