Sample machinist wanted in Union County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Union County, Florida. Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
